AUTOVACCINES AND HERD VACCINES
Medinfar Sorológico is the only Laboratory in Portugal Authorized by DGAV (Portuguese Food and Veterinary Authority) for the production of Autovaccines and Herd Vaccines.
Herd vaccines are vaccines produced from agents that resemble a disease-causing microorganism, which are isolated in samples from sick (or dead) animals on a farm to be used on animals on that farm. (Decree Law No. 148/2008 of 29 July)
