Indications
Paramolan® Comprimidos contains 500 mg Acetaminophen that relieves pain (analgesic) and lowers fever (antipyretic). Recommended for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, sore throat (excluding tonsillitis) and mild to moderate headache. Also recommended for the treatment of fever lasting no more than three days, and for the treatment of flu-like syndromes and colds.
Posology
Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years or older: 1-2 tablets, up to 4 times a day, at intervals of 4 to 6 hours. Route of administration is oral, by swallowing tablets or dissolving them into water. Children under the age of 12 or weighing less than 30 kg should not take Paramolan® Tablets 500 mg.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine and/or if you have severe liver disease.
PARAMOLAN is an OTC (over-the-counter) medicine whose active substance is paracetamol. It is available as 500 mg paracetamol tablets, 24 mg/ml paracetamol oral solution and 125 mg (Infants) and 250 mg (Children) paracetamol suppositories.
